These gloves help to protect you from blisters and the grippy rubber helps you grip the hand rim and/or tire securely.
They are made out of a soft but strong black leather and have a thick durable rubber palm. Your thumb is exposed as are your fingers, the rubber extending from your 1st thumb knuckle down the fleshly part of your thumb across the lower part of your palm and down about 4" below the wrist.
They are fastened with 3 velcro straps with a D ring to assist low functioning hands. They work well on all hand rims and tires. These are a 1 size fits all only.
